The position will lead Council strategic direction for property and the vision relating to property development, commercial property leases, community leases subject to subsidy, sale, VPAs and acquisition. The Manager Property also leads the Strategic Land Property Working Group with Councillors to prioritise projects.The Manager Property leads the strategy team, property operations and property development to ensure effective and equitable services and quality facilities for the local community. The Manager Property will work closely with other Directorates of Council, including City Futures, with regard to strategic planning and City Presentation for maintenance requirements.You can also expect to;Develop and execute strategic projects and plans that optimise property investment revenue and service provision to meet community expectations, while promoting community engagement, participation, and involvementDrive a highly motivated, customer centric team and activities to foster community, economic and environmental opportunities for the Bayside Council area via its facilities and assets.Proactively manage Council’s property portfolio; lease and licence agreements; assessment of property and venue maintenance requirementsAs an organisational leader and role model you will be responsible for leading committed, motivated and engaged team and individuals to develop strong connections and collaboration opportunities with a diverse local community.
