About the OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an excellent opportunity for Manager, Strategy and Architecture within our Chief Information and Digital Organisation (CIDO).  This role will ideally be based out of Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide, however we can be flexible to accommodate other locations.

As the Manager of Strategy and Architecture, reporting directly to the Head of Digital, Data and Cyber for Enterprise Services, you will spearhead a team of skilled Architects. In this pivotal role, you are tasked with taking full ownership, leadership, and strategic management of architecture services for Enterprise Services team within the CIDO. You'll steer innovative projects and shape the future of our architectural endeavours working collaboratively with other Architecture teams within the CIDO.

More specifically, you will

• Pioneer and direct an outcome-focused Architecture practice, propelling the enterprise through a critical period of substantial growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to advance technology, strategy, and Architecture for a series of transformative digital initiatives.
• Guide business leaders in comprehending and implementing existing, new, and emerging technologies to fulfil the strategic goals of the organization.
• Lead and coordinate all aspects of the enterprise architecture including:
• Business Architecture: Drive organisational change by guiding people and processes, emphasising collaborative leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Information Architecture: Promote a unified approach to information sharing across the enterprise, enhancing connectivity and cooperation.
• Solutions Architecture: Offer strategic direction for a portfolio of prospective solutions, prioritising teamwork, and shared visions.
• Technical Architecture: Lead the evolution of the technical infrastructure, encouraging collaborative input and innovation. Take the lead in delivering architectural enablers through the delivery organization, constructing a robust architectural runway.

• Take a proactive leadership role in delivering architectural enablers through the delivery organisation, building a robust architectural runway that underscores collaborative achievements and shared objectives.
• Provide visionary guidance, leadership, and mentorship to a diverse team of architects across various domains, cultivating a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

About YOU

• Extensive expertise in one or more facets of Information Technology Architecture, encompassing applications, infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Well-versed in the latest IT trends, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to develop strategic, business-driven 3-year technology roadmaps.
• Demonstrated proficiency in commercial and financial acumen, facilitating the efficient management of significant budgets.
• Skilled in forging positive, constructive relationships with key stakeholders and inspiring teams across diverse business areas.
