About the role
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing engaging and effective multichannel Student Communications and content, including email, web, AskFed, digital displays and social media. The position provides proactive advice to the senior management team on methods to optimise communications across the student journey.
You will:
lead and manage reporting and research on key communications projects and issues;
provide support and expert advice on the review and creation of communication content, timing and effective delivery mechanisms;
build digital communications capability, identify and capitalise on opportunities to improve communications across the student journey;
lead a small team to deliver strategic outcomes, monitoring the achievement of key performance measures, identifying training and development needs and providing coaching and support.
About you
Reporting to the Director, Retention, Innovation and Student Experience you will possess demonstrated knowledge and application of digital communications and technical solutions. You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.
You will possess:
a proven capacity to develop and implement strategy to achieve defined outcomes;
demonstrated experience in project management with highly developed organisational skills;
the ability to define tasks, meet agreed outcomes, as well as subsequent evaluation and reporting, with the ability to conduct benchmarking and research, prepare reports and make recommendations; and
demonstrated problem-solving skills and digital literacy including a track record of delivering continuous improvements/innovative solutions; and
