Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall management of the company
- Define the company’s vision, mission, and overall direction
- Inspire and motivate employees to achieve the company’s goals
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the company's mission and goals
- Ensure the company remains competitive and meets long-term goals
- Make major corporate decisions, including capital allocation and operational priorities
- Approve business initiatives, such as acquisitions and partnerships
- Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and other business ventures
- Ensure financial stability and profitability by managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Communicate with the mother company stakeholders (Italy), report, and provide updates on the subsidiary’s performance, strategic initiatives, and any significant issues or developments
- Supervise daily operations and ensure efficient and effective business practices
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement in productivity
- Serve as the primary liaison between the board of directors and the company’s management
- Report to the board on the company’s performance, strategic initiatives, and major issues
- Identify and manage potential risks to the company, including regulatory and compliance issues
- Ensure the company adheres to legal standards, ethical practices, and internal policies
- Attract, recruit, and retain top talent
- Develop succession plans for key positions within the organisation
- Maintain effective communication with shareholders, directors, managers, employees, and customers.
- Represent the company at public events, conferences, and in the media
- Drive innovation by fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and new ideas
- Explore and capitalise on new market opportunities and growth areas
- Establish performance benchmarks and evaluate the company’s performance against them
