AddressFound in 1998 in the heart of Sydney, Australia, MindChamps International Preschool & Early Learning (“MindChamps”) is a pathbreaking Preschool and early childhood education with 86 centres operating globally in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Myanmar.
As we grow, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Mandarin Speaking qualified ECT for a Higher Leadership position to join our close-knit and supportive team in Chatswood to oversee the Mandarin language program.
For this position, your core responsibilities will be to:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Plan, supervise and implement the program for the room in accordance with the policies
- Lead and mentor the educators in the room
- Build fantastic rapport and incorporate a strong home-school partnership with the parents
- Ensure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.
- Ensure that a developmental and educational appropriate program is planned and implemented for each child, which takes into consideration the school curriculum.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes and record improvements for future programming.
What we are looking for
- A Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
- Current/Valid Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and relevant First Aid Certificates
- Good understanding of Mandarin and National Regulations and National Quality Standards
- Must have experience as a Responsible Person (RP) in the centre
- Previous working experience in Early Childhood Education as an Assistant Director (preferred)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- The desire to make a positive contribution to a professional, collaborative and focused team
- A love for children and a desire to make childcare a long-term career
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
