Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Assistant will collaborate closely with various departments within the manufacturing workshop to ensure all daily administration tasks are effectively completed.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Create and process invoices using Microsoft D365 whilst cross checking for accuracy and adhering to our distribution centre dispatch days
- Print Diamond Certifications relating to the correct product
- Support with tagging of barcode tickets on jewellery pieces
- Distribute job tasks to the Jewellers
- Communicate with stakeholders in both Manufacturing and within our Merchandising team regarding delivery date changes to orders
- From time to time you may be required to Quality Control (QC) finished jewellery pieces to identify defects and escalate where necessary, create and match SKUs, and process quotations for special orders collaborating with the Customer Order and Special Order teams
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
- Flexibility with an open-minded approach willing to delve into all aspects related to jewellery manufacturing
- Ability to adapt to change – daily workload and tasks can vary
- Prioritisation both at the beginning of each day as well as having resilience to re-prioritise when new urgencies arise
- Strong computer skills – experience with Microsoft D365 is advantageous
- Jewellery production knowledge will also be highly regarded however a genuine interest to learn is our priority
- Experience handling general administration tasks and utilising customer service skills
- Effective organisational and multitasking skills with a solution-driven mindset
- Ability to work under deadline pressures
