The role:

Based in Moama, NSW, we require an enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our busy finance team. Your role is to provide financial management and the provision of timely and accurate information to support and assist strategic and business decision-making. 

Your duties will include

• Ongoing management of debtors & creditors.
• Manage and supervise the efficient, timely and compliant weekly administration of payroll.
• Ensure financial and business related legislative compliances are met (including annual accounts, audits, BAS, PAYG installments, superannuation, Workers Compensation, FBT and GST reporting).
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements in processes of financial accounting to achieve efficiencies. 
• Maintain, review and make changes to the Chart of Accounts as required.
• Provide timely and robust financial analysis to support business decision making.
• Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the IT infrastructure and support. 
• Manage and oversee HR, return to work and work cover issues.
• Produce reports as required by Managing Director, and table reports at Management Meetings.

The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a finance managing role
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing business
• Strong aptitude for preparing financial reports and maintaining budgets.
• A can do attitude.
• Be a driver of change.

The following will be highly regarded:

• Membership of a professional accounting body.
• Ability to work within a committed team environment.
• Management experience
