Manufacturing/Project Engineer

A great opportunity to join a medium-sized manufacturing group, specialising in cutting-edge cladding solutions with sites throughout Australia. You will play a pivotal role in product development, testing, and offering essential technical support to both internal and external stakeholders.

The Opportunity:

As part of the technical team, you will be responsible for in-house and external testing, complying with relevant Australian Standards in areas such as structural, fire, acoustic, thermal and weatherproofing.
 

• Your daily activities will also include research, engineering design calculations, developing technical and marketing literature, as well as providing technical support to internal and external clients across all products produced by the group.
• Lead and manage end to end product development projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
• Develop design tools/ spreadsheets for in-house use.

Selection Criteria, Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Ideally experience in Manufacturing/Production or Construction environment
• Proven experience in design, process improvement and project management with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• The ability to work and collaborate within a team environment
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
