Marine Engineer - River Murray South Australia

Proud Mary is an award-winning Boutique River boat that travels along the majestic Murray River in South Australia. Proud Mary attracts travellers from both the domestic and international markets. The Proud Mary Boat operates out of Murray Bridge, less than an hour from Adelaide South Australia, & cruises as far as Blanchetown & return.

We are currently seeking an Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical mind, preferably an automotive mechanic background who is looking for a new opportunity. Should you also have MED II, MED III (Marine Engine Driver) qualifications we strongly consider you to apply to work on-board the beautiful Proud Mary. This role would be working on a 7 day on/7 day off roster.

 What qualities are we looking for?

• A minimum MEDII or MEDIII (Marine Engine Driver) qualification OR the desire to obtain these qualifications
• An individual with a strong work ethic
• Strong leadership skills as they will be second to the captain
• A great personality who can engage warmly with our guests
• An individual with a can do attitude who takes pride in their work
