We are a leading supplier of non-destructive digging, liquid waste management, drain cleaning, and subsurface utility locating, surveying and inspection services for a wide range of industries. We are a growing company with offices in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
Through surveying we specialise in mapping underground utility information and our projects vary in providing topographical surveys, major survey control and point cloud lidar scanning. An opportunity exists for a Survey Technician to join our team in Glendenning, NSW.
About the role…
- Liasing with Project Managers, Utility Locators and Surveyors to deliver on works and projects;
- Carrying out checks to ensure work is within survey specification;
- Equipment operation and maintenance;
- Compliance with safety and quality to maintain standards and regulations;
- Involves working on roads;
- Operates primarily across projects in greater Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle;
- Drivers licence and general construction induction card required.
We are looking for candidates with…
- Relevant degree or diploma qualification in surveying;
- Minimum 12 months field experience (or similar);
- An ability to read and interpret CAD, DBYD, engineering plans and ground features;
- Experience in drafting mud maps/sketches and undertaking topographical surveys;
- Operational experience with Trimble and GNSS equipment highly desirable;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite;
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
