Pleisure Marine are an industry-leading marine Diesel Mechanical business providing a specialist service across the recreational, and commercial marine sectors in Western Australia.
Authorised dealers for some of the world's leading and reputable brands such as Volvo Penta, MAN, Kohler and Seakeeper, our scope of services include the supply, repair and overhaul of diesel engines, gearboxes, generators and gyro stabilisers.
The Position
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated mechanical tradesman with previous marine / Heavy Diesel experience.
- Performing preventative maintenance and servicing on engines, generators, gearboxes and gyro stabilizers
- Diagnosis and repair of faults on engines and electrical components
- Capacity and confidence to carry out full engine overhauls and rebuilds
- Assess and report electronically on field service reports
- Work in compliance with all company policy including OHS and Quality procedures

Skills and experience
The successful applicant should have;
- Trade Qualification as Engineering Tradesperson (Mechanic) Plant Mechanic, Cert III Marine Mechanical, Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or similar/equivalent
- At least 3 years trades experience (highly regarded)
- Own tools (essential)
- Driver's Class C Manual Licence (essential)
- Driver's HR Licence (ideal but not essential)
- Marine experience (highly regarded)
