Sea Renity Marine is located North of Perth in Wangara, We provide mechanical servicing and general repairs to all trailer boats as well as Mercruiser / Volvo petrol penned power boats across Perth in Western Australia. We also provide a range of boat accessories to include marine electronics, marine audio, anchor winches and much more. We provide a full installation service of all marine accessories located in store and we also have a in house marine trimming business.
The Position
We are currently seeking a highly-motivated mechanical tradesman with previous marine outboard / Inboard petrol engine experience.
- Performing preventative maintenance and general servicing on outboard and inboard engines of all makes and models to include Mercury, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Parsun, Hidea, Mariner, Johnson and Evinrude. To include Mercruiser and Volvo petrol engines
- Diagnosis and repair of faults on engines and 12volt electrical components
- Capacity to carry out and install Garmin Marine electronics full range of products
- Capacity to carry out and install Marine Anchor winches
- Carry out general vessel repairs.
- Carry out general trailer servicing
- Work in compliance with all company policy including OHS and Quality procedures

- Able to work within task & provide Dailey worksheets and provide customer service team with detailed reports of findings and parts required and provide estimates of repair times to customer service team.
- Able to discuss faults and or repairs required to customers if the need arisses.

Skills and experience
The successful applicant should have;
- Trade Qualification as Engineering Tradesperson (Mechanic) Plant Mechanic, Cert III Marine Mechanical,
- At least 3 years trades experience (highly regarded)
- Own tools (essential)
- Driver's Class C Manual Licence (essential)
- Forklift ticket (ideal but not essential)
- Marine experience (highly regarded)

Salary: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
