This Australian Leading Organisation is currently looking for a Marine Technician to work on their Complex Safety Systems and Marine Fleet. You will be joining a company which takes great pride in their excellent working ethics and team culture.
Your new role
As a Marine Technician on site, you will be responsible for maintenance activities to ensure the marine fleet and the ground support equipment meet operational requirements. This may include defect rectification, servicing and general maintenance activities, documentation and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and complying with quality assurance standards. You will bring with you the experience to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will be supporting the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of the following industry systems:
- Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic Systems,
- Oxygen, Breathing Air & Hydraulic Systems,
- LP, MP & HP Pneumatic Systems,
- High Pressure Nitrogen and Oxygen Units,
- Portable Gas Charging units,
- HVAC&R Systems.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have experience in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of Safety Critical and Habitability systems within the Defence Industry and hold a Cert III in a Mechanical or a Similar discipline. You will have strong hands on skills and have the ability to communicate well within a team environment. Due to the industry you must be eligible to obtain an Australian defence security clearance and hold a current valid drivers licence.
