Marine Technician / Mechanic - $2000 Sign On Bonus

Due to more & more customers choosing Seatech Marine and the large number of future bookings we have on the books. We are looking for a motivated individual to join the team here on the Gold Coast. At Seatech we are aiming to do things differently and really value our Technicians and their contribution to the business, our customers and their vessels. 

About Seatech Marine - 

• Largest team on the Gold Coast and here since 1988
• Authorized dealer for Volvo Penta, Caterpillar, Kohler, Cummins Onan and Vetus Maxwell but we also work on other brands like Mercruiser, Cummins and most brands of outboards 
• We work on superyachts to tenders and everything in between giving you a huge variety of work 
• A supportive team that is in place to back you up
• Onsite parts department & a fleet of mobile service vehicles 

Requirements

• Trade qualified in a mechanical field & with marine experience
• Self motivated, team player and can work unsupervised 
• Clean & tidy & can handle themselves in front of customers 
• Diesel and petrol experience preferred  
• 12v experience and diagnosis skills 

Duties:

• Servicing of Inboard, Sterndrive & Outboard engines – Volvo Penta, Caterpillar an all major brands
• Servicing of generators – Kohler, Onan and all major brands
• Engine diagnosis and repairs
• Conduct on-water testing and vessel collection and deliveries 
• New engine installation and fit ups
• Full Drivers licence required and boat and forklift licence preferred 
• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy and with excellent attention to detail
