Administration Officer: Daily Organisation and Student Support
Full-time appointment for Semester Two, 2024.

We are seeking an Administration Officer who loves solving puzzles and can provide high-level confidential support to our Student Support and administration teams.
This is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time Role during term time with working hours of 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive management of external relief teaching staff.
- Work collaboratively to organise and coordinate daily teaching and yard duty reliefs with external relief teachers and internal staff for absent staff, ensuring that all supervision and Student duty of care requirements are met.
- Ensure adequate planning to replace teaching staff on planned leave, attending professional learning or being involved in College events, e.g. camps, excursions, etc.
- Provide high-level and confident administrative and clerical support to our Student Support team, including arranging meetings with teachers, parents and external agencies to support students with diverse needs.
- Assist, as required, with Student Services responsibilities, e.g. lunchtime roster, responding to parent queries, relief reception, etc.
Qualifications:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- High degrees of interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, motivation, initiative, and confidentiality. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while remaining calm, managing priorities, problem-solving and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in or willingness to learn relevant systems and databases (e.g. Edval/TES Timetable, TASS, Learning Pathways) as well as MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
