We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join the team at the Council of Ambulance Authorities, a non-for-profit national charity that operates as the peak body for the Australian, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea Ambulance Sectors.
This permanent full-time position is based in our Western Adelaide office, starting April 2024. Annual salary is $60,000 plus superannuation.

About the role
- Lead the planning, execution, and tracking of all Marketing and communication
- Responsible for all content creation and monitoring of our digital assets including social media accounts, e-newsletters, EDM management, website updates, and monthly webinars.
- Responsible for compiling our bi-monthly industry magazine, First Magazine including
- Content creation and collation
- Design facilitation
- Sponsors and advertising management
- External partner liaising
- Distribution of digital & physical copies
- Identify and secure advertising and sponsorship partners for our First Magazine plus other CAA campaigns and events.
- Develop and update our annual CAA marketing calendar
- Build campaign briefs for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve campaign objectives, working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver all strategic imperatives required
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement all CAA campaigns and assets.
- Keep task management software up to date with all campaign and project details.
- Build, and nurture relationships with service member partners, sponsors and external suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have
- Proven experience in similar Marketing and Communications role
- Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong and proven written and copywriting skills, including experience managing a portfolio of social media accounts
- Demonstrated graphic design skills
- A passion for all forms of content creation
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- High level of organisation, time management and communication skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
