Menzies School of Health Research is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to drive integrated and creative communications, Marketing and media initiatives to enhance Menzies brand and position Menzies as the national leader in research and education that improves health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and vulnerable populations in our region.
With over 35 years of achievement in health and medical research, Menzies has recently set its strategic direction over the next 5 years. This is an exciting time to join the team in the lead Marketing and Communications role, supporting the Senior Executive Team to deliver on strategic imperatives by translating Menzies strategy into actionable and effective brand, communications and marketing plans.
What you will bring to the role
To be successful in this role you must be highly motivated, organised, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and capable of delivering creative ideas from concept through to completion.
You’re innovative in your approach with a creative mind and a keen eye for detail. You have the ability to develop effective relationships and positively influence others, an aptitude for change, and passion for growth and development.
You also possess:
- A relevant qualification in marketing, communications or a related field with experience in a similar senior role.
- Proven ability to conceptualise and deliver innovative and successful campaigns, projects and plans.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical information into compelling and highly engaging content.
- Excellent management and leadership qualities.
- Proven expertise across a broad range of contemporary digital technologies and social media platforms.

- Attractive salary package $166,406 - $179,073 pa including superannuation and salary packaging benefits (base salary $135,241 to $145,547)
