As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work in innovative education dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate up to 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. We seek staff who are able to actively support Glenaeon’s ethos and values which foster a creative approach to teaching and learning, and a compassionate and quality pastoral care.
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our strategic plan working closely with the Marketing Communications Manager. Key responsibilities will encompass production of the School’s fortnightly online Newsletter including story writing, photography, video recording & editing; maintaining & updating our website; monitoring the School’s social media channels & posting content; and assisting with implementation of marketing campaigns.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, digital communication or a related field and 2-3 years’ experience. Expertise in digital marketing, social media content management, Adobe Creative Suite/CANVA/Hootsuite, combined with top-notch written & verbal communication skills including messaging, grammar, spelling and attention to detail are required. Prior experience in an educational setting and an understanding of Steiner education would be an advantage.
An attractive salary based upon qualifications, skills and experience will be offered. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing.
