We are located in the Aura industrial park, Baringa on the Sunshine Coast and are the sole Australian distributors for Cressi Sub SpA. We are looking for a dynamic junior Marketing Assistant to join our vibrant team and provide support to the Marketing Manager and our growing dealer network.
About the role
In this exciting and career building role you’ll be providing vital support to the Brand team, while at the same time having the opportunity to develop key skills to help you progress your career. We’re looking for a positive, proactive and customer-oriented addition to our team, who is able to juggle multiple priorities and happy to jump in and support the team wherever needed.
As the Junior Marketing Assistant, you will report to the Marketing Manager and upper management. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of a variety of projects, from social media, advertising, packaging design, product launches, communication to customers, ambassadors and onsite photoshoots and promotions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the creation and scheduling of creative content
- EDM management - planning, execution, and delivery
- Assisting with the development and delivery of digital and social media strategies and plans
- Assist with product development and packaging.
- Digital marketing including website content and maintenance.
- Assist with the design and development of marketing materials including those related to print, web, video, social media, website and email.
- Engagement with the Cressi team on new marketing briefs.
- Support our Cressi Dealers around Australia with product launches and material creation.
- Creating and sending regular company e-news
About you
A marketing degree isn't required however an understanding of design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as a passion for creation and marketing is essential. A proactive nature and willingness to learn will see you succeed in this role. Your understanding of social media, print media, and product advertising would give you a base level of knowledge and understanding needed for this role.
- We are seeking a motivated candidate who is a recent graduate of studies related to Marketing or is still completing their studies in this field.
- Strong communication skills are essential as this is a highly collaborative role requiring teamwork with many departments both in Australia and around the world.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, organisation and time management skills along with a hands-on approach are also ideal.
- relevant previous digital marketing/social media experience
