Job description

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2025.

About this role

This position performs a clinical, consultant, and education psychology service with individuals, couples, families, groups, other professionals and organisational systems within an inpatient multidisciplinary mental health context at Graylands Hospital; provides supervision to clinical psychology registrars/trainees.

This position reports to the Senior Clinical Psychologist Coordinator.

Area Profile

NMHS contains Western Australia’s largest Mental Health Service caring for youths, adults and older adults. Services are delivered through inpatient units, community mental health clinics and day therapy and outreach programs to a catchment area of almost 1 million people. State-wide and Tertiary Mental Health Services include research, forensics, neurosciences, art therapy, eating disorders and other specialised services.

Graylands Hospital is the state’s largest and only standalone public psychiatric teaching hospital that provides acute care, rehabilitation, treatment and rehabilitation for adults. There are 51 acute beds and 59 hospital extended care (HECS) beds.
