We are a respectful, supportive, and hard-working group with a passion for delivering world-class events (we’re tipping you’ve heard of the TAB May Racing Carnival). Our small team prides itself on being professional, collaborative, and easy-going.
The full-time role will be responsible for the delivery of key marketing campaigns and communication initiatives, as well as playing an important role in the team on event days. The successful candidate will inhabit the Club’s unique tone of voice and ensure we’re keeping stakeholders updated.
Here’s a snapshot of the role and the candidate:
- You’ll have some experience and/or a tertiary education in marketing, advertising, public relations or other related field
- You’re a communicator, a spelling guru, and can easily adapt your writing styles
- You’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up; it gets busy before feature race days
- You have excellent understanding of design and bring basic design skills with you
- You are across and enjoy working on social media
- You value working in a team that will help you grow
- You’re not necessarily a ‘horse racing’ person, but you know and respect our events
- You’ve got skills across the Microsoft suite, MailChimp (or similar) and social media platforms
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, cheerful and efficient, who enjoys a variety of work and is able to communicate well at all levels. A high attention to detail and good time management are essential.
