As a Communications Coordinator your role is to lead and contribute to the development of communications products and activities to assist the Possability to grow, adapt to change and build a sense of team.

About you:
As a Communications Coordinator, you will have the following:
- Ability to write for different audiences and channels, demonstrated through diverse and engaging communications and marketing content.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in tone, tense, grammar and all things comms. Effective proofreading and editing.
- Excellent researcher and ability to distil complex information into clear and simple to understand communications. Understanding of change communications and how to speak to people’s expectations.
- Good time management skills and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and complete tasks to deadlines.
- An active and respectful listener and communicator, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A team player who works collaboratively, values diversity and can relate to people from a range of backgrounds.
What is essential?
- At least three years in a similar role, supporting internal and/or change communications.
- A skilled writer, able to write for different audiences in a range of styles with an understanding of how to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience writing for a range of communications tools internally and externally, including for websites, newsletters, social media, reports or other formats/channels.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, providing outputs with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Share our organisation’s values and driven by the desire to contribute to our purpose. An avid supporter of human rights.
- Experience in the disability or community sector would be beneficial.
- Experience writing easy read and/or easy English would be beneficial.
