The Vine Inn Barossa has remained a landmark destination in the world-famous Barossa region for more than 170 years, and community-owned for over 85 years.

Located in Nuriootpa, the Hotel is one of the area’s largest hospitality venues, incorporating accommodation, bar, dining, gaming, function/conference, and bottle shop facilities.

The multi-award-winning watering hole is renowned for its warm and friendly service, along with its significant sponsorship and in-kind contributions to the community.

The Big Picture

Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for actively building relationships and assisting with the development and implementation of the business’ marketing, communication, and ongoing community engagement/outreach sponsorship programs.

The Marketing Coordinator will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including key tourism bodies, community organisations, partners, members, and other interested parties to ensure the Vine Inn’s mission and services are fully represented.

Together with the Vine Inn team, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in raising the Vine Inn’s profile and strengthening its brand.

Make Your Mark

• With the General Manager, develop and implement the Marketing & Communications Activity Plan and Production Schedule to promote the Vine Inn across all channels.
• Help build the profile of the business by continuing to maintain positive relationships within the community and effectively communicate the Vine Inn’s history, purpose, and strategic direction.
• Develop and execute engaging content and regularly update information on the Vine Inn’s website and social media platforms.
• Assist with the development and delivery of internal and external communications, including eDMs, advertising & POS material, TV advertising, Board updates, newsletters, brochures etc.
• Explore opportunities to engage with community/tourism-led events and programs.
• Review, develop and maintain all marketing resources, such as images, content, promotional videos, and graphics, and ensure all assets are organized and archived.
• General administration support when required.

Your Strengths

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, WordPress, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Zen Global and/or other CRM systems.
• Accuracy, attention to detail with excellent proofreading/editing skills
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, internally and externally
• Highly organized with a proven track record of meeting business objectives and deadlines
• Experience with  basic graphic design
