PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role
- Hotel industry experience preferred
- A passion and genuine interest in food and beverage concepts
- Marketing/Communications/PR qualification
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Experienced in website CMS (WordPress)
- Proficient in Digital Marketing strategies and techniques
- Experience with social media content creation and management
- Proficient in GA4
- High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience in liaising with multiple departments/stakeholders both internal and external
COMPETENCIES:
This role is responsible for the overall activation of Pier One marketing strategies for hotel, events, bar and dining, on our own electronic channels (Marriott.com, Hotel websites, online travel agents, search engines) and other digital marketing vehicles including content creation and social media channels.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the role plays a crucial part in partnering with Pier One’s digital agency and Marriott digital services to engage current and potential customers with targeted messaging that’s relevant, on-brand, and genuinely engaging.
