Located in the heart of the University of Sydney, the Seymour Centre’s curated programs celebrate the connection between great ideas and great performance. Working within the Seymour Centre, the Marketing Manager’s role is to strategically lead and manage two key areas of its core operations:The marketing of the Seymour Centre and its public performances
The management of the Centre’s ticketing and box office operations. The Marketing Manager will lead a team of marketing personnel and box office staff, and work with the Artistic Director/General Manager and other senior managers to assist in the developing of the overall strategic direction for the future of the Seymour Centre. Your key responsibilities will be to:devise and lead appropriate strategic marketing plans for the Seymour Centre for annual program eventslead and performance manage the Seymour marketing and ticketing staff to achieve agreed objectives and, where necessary, lead the recruitment of new staffmanage suppliers and contractors, project consultants, design agencies, advertising agencies etcimplement regular brand audits, evaluation and strategy, ensuring all internal and external marketing communication adheres to the most current brand guidelinesdirect and oversee management of the Seymour Centre’s website and digital media, and any other electronic marketing media as requiredoversee and implement social media strategies for promotion of the Seymourdirect and oversee management of the box office operations, and the Vivaticket (Enta) ticketing systemwork with Business Manager and senior staff to ensure box office operates efficiently and effectively, from the building of events and tracking day-to-day activitywork closely with the leadership of the Seymour Centre in providing strategic future direction
About youextensive experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably within performing arts or similar organisationsexperience managing and implementing integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned platformsdemonstrated experience in financial planning, monitoring budgets and reporting at senior levelsdemonstrated experience in leading and supervising a diverse team of staffextensive experience with social media strategies and marketing a company or productexperience in managing box office or similar customer service/sales operations is desirableexperience working with ticketing systems is desirable
