Who are we looking for?
This role will see the successful candidate work on a wide range of marketing projects across various media types, including online, print, social media, events, and more, while managing the communication of B2B marketing relationships. You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our key retail partners along with the efficient running of the department in line with Rhythm strategies and brand standards.
Working closely with marketing and sales departments, the successful applicant will be the face of the marketing team for our wholesale customers. This person will be the conduit between the marketing department and our wholesale customers, with a focus to improve customer relations. The Marketing Manager will use the creative assets created by the marketing department to align trade marketing to support wholesale sales.
As the Marketing Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the premium execution of the marketing communication plan. They will play a role in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the business strategies to drive marketing and sales objectives and maximise Rhythm’s positive exposure in national and international markets.
Summary of Purpose
- To develop, establish, and maintain marketing communications strategies to meet Rhythm’s retail and wholesale objectives as the Brand Manager outlines.
- Manage and tailor the distribution and execution of Rhythm content to our retail account partners.
- Regularly service our retail customers to ensure the maximum level of support is provided in order to achieve marketing and sales objectives.
- Coordinate and maintain PR, social media, and CRM platforms alongside the wider marketing team.
- Assist with the development of marketing collateral for a variety of marketing purposes.
Successful candidates should possess:
- Strong team leadership.
- Excellent project timeline management
- An understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- A strong understanding of wholesale marketing.
- An understanding of Shopify, or equivalent.
- An understanding of Klaviyo, or equivalent.
- A marketing or communications qualification is advantageous.
- Graphic design skills advantageous.
- Marketing experience preferably within the surf or retail industry advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills plus excellent organisational skills.
- An understanding of budgets and financial concepts.
