WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

As our Marketing Manager, you will be the key player in driving all marketing strategies and promotions with intentions of multiplying new business sales, drive new product development and increase overall revenue to allow us to grow as a not-for-profit organisation, alongside, bringing more people to our breathtaking region.

Your day-to-day will be different everyday from the creation of in-depth marketing strategies to elevating the brand, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all of our marketing channels. You will analyse our current marketing efforts and add your own twist to take it to the next level. We work with external agencies to ensure the highest standard of production when it comes to paid advertising and PR, so you will need to possess strong organic marketing skills as we handle all things social media, email marketing and basic SEO in-house!

You will work closely with our CEO(don't worry he comes from a background in marketing, so gets it!), local government members and our well educated board when it comes to forecasting, budgets and overall performance. We're such a hands-on team you will never be alone in any challenge! The team is full of forward thinkers and risk-takers, so we want someone who isn't afraid to try something that's not been done before!

YOU WILL NEED...

• 4+ years' experience in digital marketing
• A passion for the outdoors, nature and regional Victoria
• Strong organic understanding - Organic Social, eDMs, PR, Community management etc
• Previous experience strategising holistic marketing plans
• Experience in utilising external agencies for digital marketing and working collaboratively throughout the process
• Strong experience in branding
• To welcome the challenge of being a one person marketing team
• Strong communications skills - both written and verbal
• A reliable vehicle and the ability to commute to Halls Gap on a hybrid basis

IT'S NICE TO HAVE...

• Experience working within regional Victoria or for regional businesses
• Experience within destination marketing, tourism marketing or travel marketing
• An understanding of different cultures and the history of Grampians, Wimmera and Mallee land
