The Social Media Manager (Faculty channels) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the university's global reputation and engagement through strategic Social Media initiatives. Responsible for overseeing approximately 30 faculty Social Media channels and leading a high-performing team of Faculty Social Media Advisors, this position drives communication and marketing objectives through the ongoing delivery of channel strategies, creative content, insights, resourcing and budget optimisation.
- Reporting to the Head of Social Media, this role also leads the management and analysis of issues as they arise through Social Media, exercising high-level judgement and collaborating cross-functionally with the Strategic Communications team to protect and enhance the reputation of the University.
- Demonstrated significant work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and post-graduate tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated successful delivery of strategic marketing and communications activities within a large and complex organisation.
- Proven track record managing issues and crisis management in complex environments.
