The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Technology and Insights, the Marketing Manager | Website & Digital Optimisation works across Fitness & Lifestyle Group's (FLG) ANZ Brands, Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First, Zap, Jett's New Zealand and Barry's. As the custodian of innovated customer experience, you will play a crucial part in delivering optimised web experiences and enhanced customer journeys.
We are seeking an experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on role, adept at wielding both technical and strategic skills to drive the success of our online presence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about staying at the forefront of industry developments, using their expertise to continuously enhance our digital footprint and deliver measurable results. They will have the opportunity to have real impact on our business looking at SEO resets, local SEO practices and CRO to help us excel in our digital strategy.
With the full support of our internal teams and external agencies, the Marketing Manager | Website & Digital Optimisation will be responsible for web strategy, publishing, optimisation and reporting. You will thrive in a fast-changing and collaborative environment where people are enthusiastic, curious, and accountable.
FLG is committed to promoting a healthy work-life balance. This is a hybrid role, mixing 60/40 office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and work-from-home responsibilities.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Website Strategy & SEO
- Work at both the strategic and tactical levels to champion bold, innovative web and digital prospect and member experiences.
- Identify areas of improvement in website experiences. Streamline and standardise highly effective web journeys.
- Develop and implement lead and conversion-focused SEO strategies across multiple brands.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to enhance website visibility and ranking on search engines.
- Ensure all published content meets SEO guidelines and aligns with the brand's voice and tone.
Analytics and Performance Management:
- Utilise advanced analytics tools to monitor website performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Manage and implement advanced tagging systems for accurate data collection.
- Develop and present regular reports detailing website performance, SEO effectiveness, and content engagement.
- Collaboration and Internal Engagement
- Work with Automations Team to develop and manage always-on, automated digital journeys.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical teams, Product Team, UX Design, Content Manager and subject matter experts.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Essential
- Prior experience in related positions, with at least 3 years' experience in web content management/SEO management.
- Experience with CRO
- Knowledge and experience in the application of SEO, and Web Analytics tools for data analysis (Basic & Advanced Analytics Certified).
- Exceptional analysis and reporting skills.
- Experience working multiple CMS and E-comm platforms, ideally Contentful, Umbraco and BigComm.
Desirable
- Experience in developing with SQL, HTML/CSS/JS
- Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira and/or Confluence.
