Position Summary:
In this role you will lead our marketing department to deliver a strategic & robust GTM marketing calendar, connecting brand to all consumer touch points. Aligned to Burleigh Brewing’s brand ID, this role will oversee brand direction and execution with key focus on Digital, Trade, Events, Community & Partnerships, along with our Burleigh Brewing Taphouse, to amplify awareness and demand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead in-house marketing team & manage engagement with external contractors
- Keep brand direction on track, aligned to brand ID
- Develop and manage the execution of brand and marketing tactics, including digital, trade-marketing, consumer-marketing, partnerships, ambassadors, festivals & events, public relations, taphouse, e-commerce – all connected to a concise GTM calendar
- Track & report against brand performance focused on ecom, digital and social metrics
- Grow database and loyalty/membership program
- Oversee in house graphic designer on concepting, briefing and execution of content projects to deliver across all GTM channel needs
- Manage marketing budget in line with annual business KPI’s
- Collaborate with CEO & GM Sales to ensure alignment for success across all business objectives.
- Partner with the Events & Community Manager to nurture an engaged and exciting ambassador program
- Partner with Taphouse Activations Lead to drive foot traffic to the brand’s home

KEY MEASURABLES:
- Deliver annual marketing budget in line with key business objectives.
- Create brand awareness, demand and retention to deliver on sales targets in line with growth expectations, including homesite ecommerce sales & key metrics.
- Shared responsibility for the overall brand sales and business objectives.
- Grow database and loyalty program in line with targets.
- Taphouse amplification, foot traffic and sales.
- Meet weekly & quarterly deadlines and report department progress to CEO.
- Brand consistency across all channels aligned to Brand Guidelines and GTM.
- Displaying a positive ‘can do’ attitude that leads & supports the entire team.
- Build an environment that extends outside of internal walls and creates hype to be part of the Burleigh Brewing tribe.
Who we are looking for?
- Ideally you’ve completed a Marketing, Business or Digital degree but not critical. Experience wins.
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role. Ideally in the beer or lifestyle industry.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce and the digital ecosystem that drives it.
- Robust understanding & experience with brand, positioning and how it influences the consumer.
- Proven leadership skills that drives marketing success against business outcomes.
- Creative thinker that can spark energy within the team.
- Brand advocate that has an interest in Burleigh Heads, beer and the lifestyle that surrounds it.
