About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is positioned within Economic Development & Tourism sector within the Office of the General Manager.

This opportunity will enable the successful candidate to deliver on economic development and tourism strategies in line with The City's framework and be responsible for;

Delivery of high quality marketing material including sourcing and generating photographic images, video footage and designing marketing and promotion collateral in line with creative briefs.
Support and Coordinate specific project initiatives aimed at stimulating regional investment and assisting in delivering key economic outcomes.
Assisting the Stadium & Major Events and Economic Development & Tourism teams to achieve mutual goals which may include performing any other duties across the group as instructed by Section Leader or Team Leader
Ensuring all creative outputs are delivered in line with the sectors guidelines and timeframes.

What does a Marketing Services Officer look like?

Sound knowledge of Economic Development & Tourism and have the desire to kick start your career in a role that will provide support and ample opportunity to be an independent decision maker drawing on your experience and knowledge.

Due to the nature of the role, out of hours and weekend work will be essential for the success of this position.

What are the essentials?

Tertiary or industry qualification in a related discipline (Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Commercial, Hospitality or Business)
Tertiary Qualifications or 3+yrs experience in Digital Marketing, including digital reporting, posting and analysis of various social media platforms
A current class C driver's licence.
