About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working three days per week.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the ideal candidate will bring industry experience in marketing and possess the ability to create innovative ideas that contribute to the Vetsense brand.
This role involves product development, content management, and collaborating with third parties to enhance our brand presence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Vetsense Animal Health, with the flexibility to work remotely for two out of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Development:
o Lead the design and development of product labels and packaging.
o Ensure all product designs meet regulatory requirements and brand standards.
• Content Management:
o Develop and manage engaging content for various marketing channels, including websites, newsletters, and promotional materials.
o Oversee content calendars to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
• Social Media Collaboration:
o Work closely with third-party social media companies to develop and execute social media strategies.
o Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize engagement and brand visibility.
• Promotional Material Creation:
o Create promotional materials to support the field sales team and partner promotions.
• Brand Management:
o Maintain and enhance the Vetsense brand across all marketing platforms.
o Ensure consistent messaging and branding in all marketing communications.
• Market Research:
o Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
o Use insights from market research to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the animal health or related industry.
o Strong background in product development, content management, and social media marketing.
• Skills and Competencies:
o Excellent graphic design skills with proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize marketing strategies.
