The Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and customer obsessed Marketing Specialist to join our Essential Communications team in a newly created permanent role. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the strategic planning, development and end-to-end delivery of member communications triggered by business and regulatory requirements. You'll ensure commercial needs and regulatory obligations are met while providing the best possible customer experience.
You'll work collaboratively with a range of experts across the organisation, to provide clear advice and support, including creation of a detailed delivery plan. They include our in-house creative studio, data and automation teams, legal, fund policy, digital, fulfilment and various other SMEs.
You'll be a valuable member of a team working together to deliver the very best outcomes for our members and Medibank.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Using customer insights and effective communication strategies to improve product confidence and manage member expectations through highly personalised and data driven customer communications that incorporate relevant propositions and messaging.
- Scoping requirements for new and updated communications and collateral across multiple channels including brochures, digital, email, post and sms.
- Critically evaluating incoming projects and developing campaign plans that balance business and commercial requirements with the member experience.
- Participating in working groups to deliver the best possible outcome for members.
- Delivering requirements according to the agreed approval process and operating rhythm, working closely with our in-house creative studio, data teams, legal, fund policy, digital, fulfilment teams, external agencies and mail houses.
- Delivering against key performance metrics to ensure effective and timely delivery.
- Measuring and continually optimising communication effectiveness - eg open and CTRs and reporting on business impacts post implementation eg NPS, lapse, complaints.
- Collating and sharing PIR insights.
You'll be a passionate, data driven Marketing professional who thrives on the complexities of a highly regulated industry, with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage stakeholders to prepare top quality compliance focussed content.
Experience working across different customer communication channels is a must, and knowledge of mail house processes will be very highly regarded.
To be successful in the role, you'll be a natural problem solver, able to navigate the complexities of working in a highly regulated industry. Your project management skills and written communication abilities will be exceptional, with both a keen eye for detail and accuracy, balanced with customer focus at the heart of everything you do.
