This role will support various functions as they implement initiatives that will enhance processes and ways of working as all functions continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This role will initially be embedded in Finance and People & Culture to support their transformation and will flex to support other functions over time.
As the Communications Specialist you will define the needs across stakeholders and plan for and deliver communication to support transformation initiatives. You will partner with functional leaders, tailoring communications and ensuring consistent messaging in a busy communications environment to engage, influence and inspire teams to come along on this journey. You will work closely with cross-functional teams develop and deliver communications plans, messaging and artefacts, requiring an understanding of multiple audiences.About you and your skills
- Experience in designing and delivering clear and impactful communications for large scale change and projects in a complex corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing internal communications requiring input from multiple senior stakeholders, including tailoring and adapting outputs for different audiences.
- Experience in defining audience needs and an overall communication plan to effectively communicate and implement change.
- Degree in journalism, mass communication, public relations, or a related field.
- Excellent communication (oral and written), digital and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of project and change management principles; well organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Flexible, dynamic working style; able to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt to changing stakeholder requirements quickly and effectively.
