Our culture is collaborative, and our passion drives positive change for people and the planet.Over the past decade, we've evolved from a Western Australian residential gas retailer to one of Australia's largest energy retailers, generators, investors, and developers with infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand.Australia's energy system is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history and we're right there with it.Help us make energy betterAbout the role:The Enterprise Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, the Controls Assurance program, Business Continuity Framework, and other governance mechanisms within Alinta Energy.In this role, you'll be:
- Utilising the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) System as a centralised tool to record and manage effective controls.
- Uplifting our risk maturity by identifying, documenting, and testing critical controls to determine effectiveness and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to determine practical solutions to address control deficiencies.
- providing guidance on risk management, compliance, and control matters to stakeholders and facilitate communication between different business units.
- creating detailed assurance reports from assessments and leading stakeholder meetings to share findings, address concerns, and align with goals.
- Assisting with risk management workshops, exercises, and meetings across the business
- Demonstrable risk management experience in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise risk management, Business continuity/crisis management, Assurance/audit or Incident, issue, and/or change management.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive assurance reports and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
