We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our Melbourne based team.
The successful applicant will report to the Director on a daily basis, some of the following
tasks are as follows:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and meet targets.
- Develop advertising policies and procedures to support sales campaigns and objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and prospects by working closely with the Creative Director, Studio Manager, and Designers.
- Review and create advertising policies and procedures with management
- Oversee the production, design, artwork, copywriting, media scripting, television and film production and media placement within time and budget constraints
- Understand our services and be able to clearly articulate and sell these.
- Research and identify new business opportunities and viable revenue streams (including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services) or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Reviewing data and consumer trends to report to management for creation and delivery of new campaigns
- Interpreting and predicting current and future consumer trends
- Conduct market research to support business growth
- Grow the new business pipeline by generating leads through cold calling and referrals.
- Researching potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services and collecting and analysing data and other statistical information
- Commissioning and undertaking market research to identify market opportunities for new and existing goods and services
- Advising on all elements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling, and distribution channels
- Meet client needs by delivering quality customer support, mapping customer journeys, measuring client satisfaction regularly, and establishing consistent communication.
- Conceptualise new ideas to drive client solutions and secure consequent sales.
- Advise on product mix, pricing, advertising and sales promotion, selling, and distribution channels
- Keep up to date with current design industry trends, locally and internationally, to identify improvements or recommend new opportunities.
- Help to develop proposals and quotes and present these to clients from diverse industries.
- Report on successes and areas needing improvements and recommend solutions on how to refine our services.
- Liaise with the finance team and other departments as appropriate.
To be considered for this position the successful applicant will need to have the following qualifications or skills:
Bachelors Degree in the field
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the field
