Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and skilled Marketing and Media Specialist with a passion for videography and photography to join our team. In this dual role, you will manage our social media channels and produce captivating visual content that connects with our audience. You will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop and implement strategies that strengthen our brand presence and boost engagement. Experience is not necessary, but a good knowledge of this space is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across various platforms
- Execute content & designs via our Canva Brand Kit
- Run targeted vendor and company paid social media advertising campaigns to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends, audience engagement, and feedback
- Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner
Media:
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video and photo content for use across various marketing channels
- Capture compelling visuals that tell our brand story and highlight our products/services
- Manage and maintain video/photo equipment and ensure all content is produced to the highest standards
- Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to ensure our visual content remains fresh and innovative
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Social Media Coordinator and/or Videographer/Photographer is preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing your videography, photography, and social media content creation skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools
- Expertise in video/photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
