The Position
The part-time Marketing Specialist role is a unique job opportunity for an experienced and talented person eager to develop and work in a high-performance driven team. This role will support Chesterton APAC's marketing efforts in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region (including China) to expand Chesterton's brand and footprint through editorial strategy, technical content planning and creation, press releases and ad hoc communications, reporting to the APAC Marketing Manager
The role involves maintaining high-standards of professionalism while overseeing editorial content, webinar organisation, and other digital tasks. These activities aim to align with Chesterton's marketing and branding goals, particularly for the Chesterton and Chesterton Customseal brands. The ultimate objective is to bolster business solutions and enhance product positioning. Collaboration with the APAC Marketing team and Chesterton's APAC and Global Experts is key to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Key Tasks
• Coordinate all editorial publications, planning, and content creation in alignment with APAC Marketing expectations, business objectives, and strategies.
• Read and overview editorial content, technical papers, or other materials submitted for publication to ensure alignment with APAC Marketing expectations and objectives.
• Establish editorial relationships and coordinate publications and other activities to help execute marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on branding and promotion to ensure consistency.
• Provide editorial/publication advice and assistance, reviewing copy for compliance with branding guidelines.
• Coordinate white paper creation and work with key stakeholders to deliver marketing objectives based on key target industry strategy.
• Deliver monthly editorial reports discussing further action plans and strategies.
• Coordinate webinars and training sessions, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with marketing objectives. Coordinate the company website, overseeing content updates and ensuring it reflects the latest branding and messaging.

Education and/or Experience
• Completed a relevant marketing qualification (Cert/Diploma/Degree).
• Strong previous experience working in a marketing role
• Relevant experience in the design, layout, and production of both printed materials and electronic media
• Experienced in business and marketing tools, including WordPress, Canva, HubSpot, GoToWebinar, and Google Analytics.
• Adobe CS experience preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat)
• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail skills.
• Business acumen and ability to adhere to budgetary requirements.
• Experience working in or supporting Asia Pacific markets is highly advantageous.
