Your role
At Allens our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.
You'll play a critical leadership role in our Digital, Design and Data team (based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth) providing direction and overseeing execution of our marketing technologies and the delivery of rich and actionable marketing data analytics for the business. This team sits within our wider Marketing & Client Services (MCS) department. The MCS team comprises marketing, communication and digital specialists, in areas such as communication, media and content; marketing and campaigns; design and digital; events and networks and business development specialists. The Marketing Technology & Analytics Manager will build and act on a vision and strategy that ensures optimal utilisation and ongoing evolution of an integrated eco-system of leading marketing technologies and ensures valuable data is delivered and used by the business in pursuit of its client relationships and growth opportunities.
As a Marketing Technology Manager in the Digital, Design and Data team you will:
Business and stakeholder engagement
Champion the use of the firm's marketing technologies and data by users across the firm, including building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels to support adoption of existing and future capabilities
Constantly tap into the needs of the firm to maintain an understanding of current and future user requirements
Lead change management initiatives to empower and support end users in their adoption of existing and new Marketing Technology and data driven insights
Track industry trends and provide thought leadership to support the firm to be at the cutting edge of Marketing Technology and data analytics best-practice.
Drive marketing data analytics
Oversee the process for delivering marketing data analytics and reporting, with a focus on delivering insights to the business that support our go-to-market objectives across sectors, practice and client relationship objectives
Lead the team's capability to draw actionable and valuable insights from our marketing data. As well as empowering others to embrace data analytics, you will also play a role proactively identifying, speaking to and engaging others in trends and patterns that are relevant to the firm's strategies and activities.
Lead initiatives to evolve and integrate data sets that respond to the firm's changing needs
Own, design and enhance marketing data infrastructure, working closely with IT develop and evolve data integrations.
Ensure the purity and efficacy of our data so that it is fit for purpose and capable of being utilised for growth activities, reporting and Analytics and personalisation and segmentation.
Ensure compliance with firm data governance policies by overseeing data capture and management processes.
Oversee the Marketing Technology ecosystem
Manage and drive continuous improvement to of the Marketing Technology stack to align with evolving business objectives., including management of CRM Marketing Automation, CMS, webinar tech and the associated integrations.
Oversee processes to ensure the proper configuration and daily utilisation of our Marketing Technology to effectively support our go-to-market campaigns, business development, prospecting activities and client experiences.
Ensure the team delivers end-to-end management of operational issues resolution, including problem solving and stakeholder communications.
Project management and transformation
Project manage new technology implementations and incremental improvements, including building business cases, assessing return on investment and efficiency opportunities, planning, leading project team members, and tracking and driving activity in line with specified objectives, deadlines and budgets
Develop and maintain relationships with internal IT teams and external vendors, manage contracts and statements of work with agencies.
Driving process efficiencies / managing processes / implementing process improvements
Team management and collaboration
Manage a team of direct reports.
Mentor and develop a high performing team which is connected to the strategic goals of the firm
Collaborate across the firm to develop digital and data literacy

About you
You will have:
Line management experience with a desire to learn, grow, network and mentor others.
Significant experience managing a Marketing Technology function in a B2B marketing team in a professional setting.
Hands on experience managing technology platforms to support day-to-day marketing activities.
Previous experience with managing strategic projects, procuring and managing vendors and designing and optimising data integrations and business processes.
Ability to work with a geographically dispersed, multi-functional team.
A passion for keeping ahead of emerging digital best practices.
Proficient in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
An impeccable attention to detail
Qualifications in Marketing, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred.
A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
