Marketplace Growth Marketing Manager

Company Description

Resolve is the marketplace to buy or sell businesses - think REA or CarSales but for the business sales market (rather than real estate or car sales). The business is growing at a rapid rate, organically, so now is the right time to establish Resolve's marketing function. As such, we're hiring for a couple of roles, starting with an experienced marketer to head up the team and grow it around them, a product marketer, and a B2B Growth Marketing.

Experience

• marketing role (growth, operations, performance marketing, or marketing leadership) at scale-up
• some experience in external communications, copywriting, business journalism (business writing on behalf of a brand, press releases, product launches);
• performance marketing (campaign data, analytics and reporting);
• custodian of a brand;
• graphic design or visual art;
• leadership (formal or informal).

Skills and Traits

• effective marketer - cost efficiency, bang-for-buck, impactful messaging, direction, & channels; able to identify, initiate and deliver partnerships, collaborations, and alliances (ie strategic, personable, great at engaging stakeholders)
• innovative, crafty, eye for detail, observant, analytical, perceptive, notices trends & moves quickly
• great communicator - specifically written English (English literary rules eg sentence structuring, subject-verb alignment, etc), business writing-style (concise, direct, point-oriented, minimal adjectives & devoid of superlatives, etc);
• ambitious and career-oriented (or looking to focus on your career for the next 2-4 years)
• bias for action / for trial and error, reflection, adaptation;
• diligent, innovative & crafty, eye for detail;
• influential (ability to align with stakeholders, position win-win outcomes, and influence to affect desired outcomes;
• someone who can work independently is willing to roll their sleeves up, solution-oriented;
• take pride in your work; have a high degree of care in what you do and how you do it;
• great at prioritising tasks.

Qualifications

• Mix of operational prowess/brilliance with capacity for strategic thinking & ruthless prioritisation
• Marketing experience (comprising any of the following specialties: product marketing, merchandising, B2B Growth Marketing, brand leadership, partnerships, PR, social media);
• Excellent analytical and communication skills;
• Strong project management and execution abilities;
• Experience in technology or with marketplaces is a plus;
• Located in Sydney
