Material Handler

The Evolve Group in Crestmead are currently looking for fit, strong and energetic individuals to work as Material Handlers on multiple shifts.

Evolve Group, a fast-paced and rapidly growing Australian-based innovator, is seeking Material Handlers to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Crestmead. With over 45 years of experience in product design, development, and manufacturing, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality plastic moulded products and providing innovative solutions to our clients.

About the Role:

As a Material Handler, your main job is to help keep our production running smoothly. You'll be responsible for getting the right materials ready for our machines and making sure they don't run out during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Use forklifts to move materials around and make sure the machine operators have everything they need.
• Prepare materials ready for the machines and keep them stocked up.
• Put materials in dryers if needed and make sure they're ready for production.
• Double-check that the right materials are being used for each machine.
• Fill out paperwork and keep track of our materials.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Help with the removal of any waste materials.
• Use computers to undertake basic tasks like printing labels.
• Wrap up finished products and put them in the right place.

About You:

• You should know how to drive a forklift (and have the license to prove it).
• It would be great if you've worked with machines before or in a factory.
• We need someone who can handle physical work and is in good shape.
• You should be reliable and always show up on time.
• Safety is important, so you'll need to follow instructions and be careful.
• We work as a team, so good communication and attention to detail are key.
• Don't worry if you don't know everything yet – we're happy to teach you!
