We are currently looking for a print manager or shift supervisor to operate our flexographic and gravure printing presses.
PRIMARY DUTIES & OBJECTIVES:
Set up printing press to required quality and production standards.
Monitor and maintain print quality to correct standards.
Check jobs to specifications and proofs.
Manage assistant to ensure that standards are met.
Ensure that machine is maintained in serviceable condition.
Blending and mixing of inks.
Ensure that all quality and timekeeping documents are complete and correct.
Work with assistant on job change over.
Preparation of machine parts including chamber blade assemblies.
COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
Qualifications in Engineering or Printing or Flexography/Gravure
Good colour matching skills
Good mechanical skills.

- Expected salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
