We’re going through a period of significant and exciting change which presents huge opportunities in supply chain planning space. If you’re a seasoned Materials or supply planner who can wear many hats, at times, juggling competing priorities, please read on.
Sitting within a friendly team and reporting to the Head of Planning ANZ Glass, you will be working with production planners, manufacturing, procurement, recycling team, logistics, finance team and a broad range of other internal stakeholders.
This position is responsible for:
The development and execution of the ANZ Material, Packaging and Recycled glass supply plan for 0-36 months horizon
- Develop and maintain a valid executable supply plan which ensures delivery of raw materials, packaging and recycled glass to satisfy identified production plan needs whilst maintaining inventory inside company inventory holding Policy and meeting agreed operating parameters (including cost and resource constraints)
- Ensure the execution of the agreed plan to ensure on time in full delivery to cost. Working with key stakeholders on potential supply gaps or significant changes to plan. Communication and escalation to the Head of Planning and other stakeholders of any major variances
- Be the key supply planning interface to the business to drive and deliver best for business decisions across the supply chain for materials, packaging and recycled glass. Work with procurement and key stakeholders on initiatives to optimise cost or to ensure continued supply of materials
- Lead materials in monthly IBP meeting and weekly ITP forums (eg Supply review, Pre – supply reviews factory production schedule review. Weekly site materials meetings)
- Scope 5 factories across ANZ

What you will bring to the team:
To really smash it in this gig, you’ll have:
- Material or Supply planning 5 plus years experience. Logistics, Procurement or Export experience would be valued
- Strong stakeholder management skills is critical to be successful in this role
- A strong communicator who is capable to show initiative, engage in constructive discussions and drive improvements across the business will be a key to success.
- The ability to work at the strategic level but also at the detailed execution level is important
- Proven experience working in a complex environment, ideally with businesses that have been through footprint changes. You understand the complexity (and fun!) of balancing the needs of ‘business as usual’ and transformation and you are agile and capable to adjust your approach to meet the needs of both.
- You’ll be an experienced planning professional that has worked in a FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- You will have strong numerical and analytical skills to be able to challenge the status quo when needed.
- High knowledge of S&OP / IBP processes and experience in facilitating S&OP/IBP meetings
- Being savvy in SAP systems would be desirable and valuable to the job.
- Advanced Excel skills
