AddressWe are seeking a passionate individual to assist our Early Childhood Health team in the support of children 0-6 years and their families. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a flexible Maternal and Child Health service which maximises the health and wellbeing, learning, development and safety outcomes for all children 0 – 6 years and their families.
To be successful in this role you will need.
QualificationsEssential
- Current registration as both a registered nurse and midwife on the AHPRA register.
- Post graduate diploma/masters in child and family health nursing.
- Driver license valid in Victoria
- Employee working with children check
Essential
Extensive knowledge of the Maternal and Child Health Service, and demonstrated understanding of current service guidelines and practices.
Key selection criteria 1Demonstrate the ability to establish an effective working rapport and positive relationships with a wide range of families.
Key selection criteria 2Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member of a multi disciplinary team as well as working independently.
Key selection criteria 3
Knowledge of, and experience in working with high risk families and providing targeted actions, interventions and/ or supports to improve outcomes.
