Make a difference in our community!The MCH Coordinator is responsible for managing a large and diverse MCH Team. This position provides leadership support and guidance to ensure the provision of a high quality MCH service. The role will foster a strong team culture and consistent clinical practice, be a champion for change and continual reflection, leading to a positive outcome for all children and families.As part of the Child & Family Health Unit you will work alongside a diverse Leadership team including universal MCH Coordinators, EMCH Coordinator, Nurse Educator, MCH projects and planning Coordinator and Administration Coordinator. You will provide leadership, clinical practice support, secondary MCH nurse consultation and guidance to individual MCH nurses and other MCH professionals to ensure the high-quality provision of our Maternal and Child Health Service.The MCH Coordinator will have a strong interface with collecting and analysing data to inform service improvement projects and ensure contemporary, evidence-based ways of working.About you
You will have a minimum of five years experience working in Maternal and Child Health and be across all aspects of the service.Have proven Leadership experience working with diverse MCH teams and delivering a high quality service, as well as extensive experience and knowledge working with families and children experiencing vulnerability in a family centred approach.Mandatory Qualifications to practice as a MCH Nurse in Victoria, as outlined in the Position Description

  • Current registration with AHPRA:
  • Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Registered Midwife, and;
In addition to the above registrations, accredited postgraduate Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) in Child and Family Health Nursing.If this sounds like you, then you should definitely apply!Want to know more?
