AddressCahill Transport offers logistic services across the country and we’re seeking an MC driver for nightly return trips between Bundaberg & Rockhampton.
This is a fantastic full-time role that offers a consistent routine. Departures would be approximately 8 – 9pm nightly from Bundaberg and include paid load/unloads.
- Driving from Bundaberg to Gladstone and Rockhampton.
- A consistent nightly routine (including weekends) with great earning potential.
- Loading/unloading dollies of bread.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Undertaking and conducting pre & post start vehicle checks.
- Practice safe driving and loading activities.
- Experienced with load restraint, weight distribution and COR.
- 1-2 weeks paid training.
- Attractive remuneration.
About you:
- Current MC licence.
- Ensure compliance with load restraint, in use of straps, angles, dog and chains., weight distribution and COR.
- Undertaking and conducting pre & post start vehicle checks.
- Tail lift experience.
- Comfortable with manual handling using dollies.
- Excellent safety first focus.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ensure the truck is always maintained to a clean standard.
- Clear understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- First class attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- This is a client facing role so great customer service skills are a must.
