We are a busy Obstetrics/Gynaecology practice seeking a full time Practice Manager/Senior Medical Secretary.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Patient liaison via phone and email
- Welcoming patients and managing clinics
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments
- Booking new patients and data entry
- Booking surgery and liaising with hospital staff
- Processing Medicare and Private Health Fund billing
- Transcription/audio typing of correspondence
- Maintaining office supplies and medical stores
- Maintaining welcoming waiting room and clinic
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience as Medical Secretary (minimum 5 years)
- Proficiency in using Genie Solutions practice software
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrate excellence in customer care
- Good attention to detail
- Well organised and ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Must demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness
