We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department
The successful applicant will be responsible for the on time and on budget delivery of Design and Engineering requirements of our current Product Range as well as the development of new products to meet customer needs and expectations. This role is based in our Unanderra Office and is a rare opportunity to join a progressive organisation with a positive team culture.

To be successful in the position you must meet the following requirements:
- Formal tertiary Mechanical Engineering Qualification
- Experience in medium or heavy manufacturing industry
- An understanding of Fabrication and Mechanical manufacturing concepts
- An understanding of applicable Standards and Guidelines relating to the Underground Mining Industry and General Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge of fluid power systems – both hydraulic & pneumatic
- CAD drafting experience in both 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Inventor)
- Background in FEA would be considered extremely beneficial
- The ability to produce animations and photo realistic images would be highly regarded
- A sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
