Advanced Robotics Engineering is a small, family operated Robotics and Automation Company based in Pakenham Victoria.
You will be an integral part of the Automation team, ensuring that we provide cost effective, excellent solutions to a wide variety of industries.
Our aim is to foster and grow engineers, giving them the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the system development process.
Advanced Robotics Engineering is very team orientated, we are a group of problem solvers who love to design and create systems. This is not a traditional mechanical engineering role; you will be directly involved in the manufacturing and implementation of automated equipment.
The role is very hands on and requires hard work and dedication. The applicants must be engaged and self-motivated. As a part of this position you may be required to travel around Victoria and Interstate from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the development of concepts
- Developing detailed CAD design and documentation
- Assisting with procurement
- Assisting with the manufacturing and manufacturing processes
- Assisting with the assembly of the automated systems
Role Requirements:
As a Engineering Designer, we expect a good understanding of mechanical machinery. You will have proficient drawing capabilities in packages such as AutoCAD, 3D modelling software Solidworx or Inventor. We expect you to have an analytical mind, as well as the drive to implement solutions that you will follow through to the end.
- Be able to show or demonstrate 3D CAD Experience in, Solidworks or Inventor.
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics or similar Mechanical Training/Qualification.
- You will require a current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- You will be willing to work the amount of hours required to meet project objectives.
- You will have a can do attitude and be capable of planning your work to meet the required timelines.
- Number of years of experience in Automated Machinery Design.
- A good understanding of all aspects of Automated equipment including; Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical & switching.
