We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Wilkinson Engineering As an Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans, orchestrates, and supervises the assembly, erection, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations.
• Analyze functional statements, organizational charts, and project information to identify areas of improvement and streamline operations.
• Develop work measurement programs and analyze work samples to establish standards for labor utilization.
• Evaluate workforce utilization, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules to enhance worker and equipment efficiencies.
• Design mechanical equipment, machines, components, and products for manufacturing, as well as plant and systems for construction.
• Create specifications for manufacturing, determine materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities, and plant layout.
• Coordinate project labor and oversee the delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.
• Establish and enforce standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal plant performance and adherence to safety standards.
• Direct the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, coordinating new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules as needed.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years Previous experience in a similar role as an Mechanical Engineer.
• Proficiency in project management software and CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and safety regulations.
• Exhibits high literacy and communication skills.
• Is proficient in the Microsoft suite (Excel & Word), with good computer skills.
